On November 5th, 2019 I was presented with the esteemed 2019 Covenant Award, in front of an audience filled with my family, friends, and colleagues. The event was a momentous gathering - a “this is your life” moment for me - and I was so proud to share it with the people who have helped me become who I am today. I dedicate this award to the Holocaust survivors - 27 of whom attended the dinner - who have become both my students and my teachers over the past 8 years of Witness Theater. They have taught me the true value of love and life and my existence in this life has been forever altered because of the stories and lessons they have shared with me.
